Shopify: Connecting your Store

Using Spitche you have an ability not only take advantage of social media engagement, but also turn your consumers into ambassadors with the help of our Shopify integration.

Connecting your Shopify Store 

 

Spitche integration with Shopify is made using Shopify app and extension to it.

Go to Shopify App Store to start app installation and connecting your store to Spitche account. Spitche app is named "Spitche: Brand Ambassadors" on Shopify App Store.

 

  • Make sure you're logged into your Shopify account.
  • Select the Shopify Store you would like to connect to Spitche Ambassador Program.
  • Click "Install" button to add app.

 

  • After that you will be redirected to your Store. Here you can see some additional information about the app you are installing. Click "Install" button to continue.
     

 

  • You will be redirected to a screen with a Spitche Plan list. Select a preferable plan by clicking on the "Get started" button. 
    NB! The plans, their price and features is subject to change.

     

  • Add your payment method information and approve your monthly subscription. 
  • If you chose a free plan, the step Approve subscription will be skipped.


     
  • After approving subscription you will be redirected to Spitche login / sign up screen to finish connection your Shopify account

    NB! we will not be able to connect your Store until you login or create Spitche account.

    • if you already have Spitche account -> simply login using your email and password;
    • if you do not have Spitche account -> click "Register" button and follow registration steps. Confirm your email address in the same browser you started Shopify Store connection in order to connect your Store and Spitche properly.
       
  • Now Spitche app is connected to your store but is not yet visible for your ambassadors on the Store. You should see your store when you go to Program -> Pages.

 

Additional steps

 

Once you have connected the Spitche app to your store, you need to complete the configurations on Shopify side.

 

  • Go to your store Settings -> Customer accounts.
  • In the Customers account settings section enable the checkbox 'Show login link in the header of online store and at checkout'.
  • In the section Choose which version of customer accounts to use mark the 'Classic customer accounts' option.
     

 

NB! After completing all of configurations proceed to the next final step: add Spitche program for your ambassadors to your Store
